This is a very short, very powerful video about the impact that a girl can make on the world for good. The video focuses on the economy but you could make an equal case about the impact of women on the church and missions. For example, there is an oft cited fact that 15-year-old girls are the primary evangelists in China’s rural house church movement. And, my own article on the Student Volunteer Movement and Christian Endeavor notes the vast impact of the women’s missionary societies. Many of the early founders and supporters of SVM were women, and they formed a core of its leadership. There is and for a long time has been an extraordinary high imbalance between many women and fewer men on the mission field. Don’t miss out on the impact of investing in a girl. They may be the key person to mobilize from a church! If we need 50,000 teams and 150,000 people on the frontiers - we need at least 75,000 girls, and perhaps far more than that.
