[edit] Churches
- May the national church might receive the courage and gifts to reach out to unreached groups with the gospel.
- A Church in every village is the vision and motto of the Evangelical Church of Guinea-Bissau. Starting churches among animists is not too difficult for this mature and active church. But 43% of Guinea-Bissaus people are Muslim and they present a whole new challenge. Please, pray that many national believers will rise to this adventure of faith.
- Lugajole, a remote, mountainous village was briefly famous when Independence was declared there on 24th September 1973. It has a church of Muslim-background Fula believers. Few of the Christians can read, but they are very active in reaching out. Please, pray that they will stay close to the Lord as they face daily ridicule and opposition. Pray that church leaders will make the difficult journey to visit them.
