[edit] Projects

[edit] Global e-mail Group

  • There is a specialized global e-mail group for Nigerians planting churches of around the world [1].

[edit] Vision5015

[edit] Introduction:

  • The Nigerian church, the largest and most vibrant in Africa, sets out its missionary vision - 50,000 missionary in 15 years.

[edit] Vision

  • The vision is to mobilize, train and deploy a large missionary force through the nations in North Africa and the Arabian Peninusla to Jerusalem by the year 2020.

[edit] Mobilisation

  • Vision5015 is a plan to mobilize 50,000 Nigerians over the next 15 years to take the Gospel through the North African and the Horn of African nations, through the Arab Peninsula nations “Back to Jerusalem.” More than 100 top missions leaders representing 80 agencies, churches and organizations are actively sending missionaries from Nigeria have affirmed this vision.

[edit] Bold Step

  • Vision5015 is indeed a bold step for the Nigerian church, which is dealing with its own Islamic, anti-Christian northern territory. However, there is unanimity in the church that the time has come to march the gospel to places that have not heard. Learning from this challenge, Nigerians are well positioned for the task.

[edit] Apostle Paul

  • The Apostle Paul also sought to take the gospel back to Jerusalem. As he articulated that vision, he reported in Acts 24:22-24: And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there. I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me - the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace.
