OM in Argentina

The Logos II visited Argentina in June 1999. Churches called for church visits, book stands, teaching, preaching, and workshops to learn more about the 10/40 Window and Operation Mobilization. This has also helped in the building and rebuilding of relationships. Many churches are beginning to see the need to support and have a vision for missions. Our desire and goal is to help train, recruit and send out more Argentina missionaries into the least evangelized countries of the world, and knowing how we can serve the churches.
Churches in the interior of Argentina have a much bigger response, burden and commitment to the work in missions. Most of the missionaries out of Argentina are from the interior of the country. In Buenos Aires there is very little of a vision and concern for missions. OM Argentina holds regular seminars and evangelistic campaigns throughout the country. The team also makes church visits doing workshops on the 10/40 Window, creative evangelism, serving as senders, Drama & Mimes, Sketch Board and unreached people groups.
After the Logos II visited 6 ports here, it sparked the formation of 13 prayer groups, from the far south of the Patagonia, to the high north of the country in the province of Salta. One of the OM team members are responsible for the communication within the group's, sending information and making visits.
17 Argentineans are serving around the world with OM, out of these there are three families with their children.
